It has been a while since I last wrote here, but sometimes life gifts us moments so powerful that they simply ask to be shared. Recently, I had the chance to meet two incredible young minds, Milena from Bulgaria and Titus from Romania, who have joined Inclusion Go as volunteers through the European Solidarity Corps. Their arrival was made possible thanks to the support of the Italian network GIOSEF, and their presence already feels like a new chapter in our shared story.
When I see Milena and Titus taking their first steps in this journey, I can’t help but think of my own beginnings, that moment when I chose to leave behind familiar places and people to follow something “more.” At that time, I couldn’t fully understand what that more meant. I only knew it was something worth dedicating my energy, my love, and my belief in change to.
Now, as I watch these two volunteers begin their adventure, I realize that this more has become my responsibility. It’s in their curiosity, their courage, their hope. It’s in every young person who decides to take part in something bigger than themselves, in every dream that crosses borders to find a place where it can grow.
I feel incredibly happy, even if it’s hard to contain such emotions. Maybe that’s why, after a long time, I felt the need to write again, to remind myself how amazing life can be when it’s shared with people who believe, who care, and who dare to make a difference.
Because, in the end, what truly shapes our journey are not just the projects we create, but the people we meet along the way those who remind us that every step toward inclusion and solidarity is a step toward a better version of ourselves.
